Those who belong to Cocaine Anonymous are all addicts who are recovering and remain sober by working together with other people. Cocaine Anonymous individuals originate from different social, ethnic, monetary and religious foundations, yet what they have similar is addiction.
The main prerequisite for enrolment is a craving to quit utilizing cocaine and all other mind-altering substances.
Anyone who wants to stop using cocaine, alcohol, or any other mind altering substance is welcome at Cocaine Anonymous. The major factor is to support the group through voluntary contributions, so no mandatory payments are demanded.
Coffee, rentals, materials and other services offered to struggling addicts are covered by Cocaine Anonymous asking for voluntary contributions at meetings. However, there should not be any feeling of compulsion when it comes to contributions in the case of newcomers. Monetary contributions from people that are not their members are not welcome.

There are no affiliations with other external organisations for Cocaine Anonymous, in the bid to avoid any complex issues. Cocaine Anonymous is a spiritual programme but does not identify itself with any religious group. Cocaine Anonymous members are able to define their own spirituality in the way that best helps them. Cocaine Anonymous has no particular views about other external matters, though the members have the right to harbour and express their individual views. Majority of the hospital's, recovery houses and rehabs send their patients to Cocaine Anonymous to help them remain sober, but we don't have any affiliation with them.
Cocaine Anonymous' main goal is for their members to stay off of cocaine and other mind altering drugs and to help other members achieve the same goals.
The sole function of Cocaine Anonymous is to provide recovery to those who are battling with addiction. It is a proven fact that to overcome addiction and remain sober, the only way it is obtainable is to associate and work alongside others like you.
Cocaine Anonymous employ the 12 steps of recovery as it has already been shown that this recovery programme is effective.
Cocaine Anonymous is only concerned with the individual recovery and on-going sobriety of the individual substance addict who approaches them for assistance. Although some members participate in things like drug addiction research, medical or psychiatric treatment, drug education, or propaganda on an individual level, Cocaine Anonymous does not participate as a fellowship.
All the people who show their commitment to quit cocaine use, including "crack" cocaine and other mentally dangerous substances can come to Cocaine Anonymous. No membership fees and dues are involved. The costs suffered are supported by non-compulsory donations of the members of Cocaine Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous respectfully refuse any donations from outside.
The program that was designed by Alcoholics Anonymous in 1935 is being used for recovery. Cocaine Anonymous uses the Twelve Step Recovery Method crafted by AA that encourages serving others to help yourself in the battle for sobriety. It is believed that a person with experience is better placed to understand and empathise with one struggling with the same addiction.
